On June 15th, 2020, Spalding paid tribute to Kobe Bryant through the release of their Spalding x Kobe Bryant Marble Series Basketball Purple/Yellow. The design of the basketball showcases the classic purple and gold of the Lakers uniform, with a white a Spalding logo and Kobe Bryant's recongizable signature etched into the front. It was released on June 15th, 2020.
