G-Shock released this EXCLUSIVE Johnny Cupcakes x G-Shock GD-X6900JC-3 collaboration watch on November 13, 2015. Johnny Cupcakes himself announced that the GDX6900JC-3 would go on sale November 13 at select G-Shock retailers and the Johnny Cupcakes website. We wanted to create a watch that would compliment our unique take on apparel design and carries the lighthearted approach that makes us both stand out. We knew we wanted to use a signature pattern and that's when we landed on the sprinkle idea. Sprinkles are the accent to a cupcake.

They top it off and complete the whole look, and that's exactly what a watch is to an outfit. Johnny Earle, Founder & CEO of Johnny Cupcakes.

Johnny Cupcakes was also present for 3 days at the NYC launch event at the G-Shock Soho Store at 454 W. Broadway on November 13 to November 15, where a pop up shop was created to generate even more excitement! It was only available at a handful of G-SHOCK retail store locations, Johnny Cupcake retail store locations, and a small amount of boutique and high end retail stores. Johnny Cupcakes is a clothing brand known for its humorous t-shirts and skull and crossbones logo featuring a cupcake instead of a skull.

The GD-X6900JC-3 has a retro-like aqua or seafoam green color with white lettering, a white face, and a standard LCD display. The bands have a printed sprinkle topping pattern (of pink, white, and blue sprinkles) and there is a pink Johnny Cupcakes logo on the face. The G on the backlight button and the band keeper are pink. The case back has an engraved Johnny Cupcakes logo and the backlight has a dripping frosting graphic. Also included is a custom Johnny Cupcakes tin and box. The watch is based on the fashionable large-size GD-X6900 model featuring a 10-year battery. World Time 29 times zones (48 cities), city code display, daylight saving on/off. 3 Multi-Function Alarms 2 one-time alarms and 1 snooze alarm.

Full Auto Calendar Pre-programmed until the year 2099. Shock Resistant Durable construction protects against impacts and vibration. 200M Water Resistant Swim and shower worry-free.
